Father, four children die in apparent murder-suicide

ANAHEIM On the surface, they were an average family. Mom took the children to school, dad worked the yard and on weekends the aroma of barbecue and a friendly family atmosphere filled the air. The neatly trimmed rose bushes in front of the Luongs' home in the 2400 block of Rainbow Avenue as well as their neighbors "It seemed like just such a nice family," said Myrtle Ryan, who lives across the street from the Luongs. "They were very good to their children and had even just bought them bicycles with training wheels."
